This 1-day red dot sight familiarization course will provide the new red dot pistol user with the fundamental handling skills of their upgraded sighting system, along with consistent reminders of necessary tactics and mindset, allowing the user a seamless integration to their new pistol optic platform.

The goal or objective of this course is to familiarize the end user with the RDS optic allowing the student to become more comfortable and confident in employing their weapon system in a lethal force encounter, focusing on the red dot optic as the main means of sighting the weapon for accuracy in high-threat environments. Fundamentals will be stressed throughout the entirety of the course.

Red Dot Sight handgun
Holster and magazine pouches
3 Handgun magazines (4 if using single stack .45 magazines)
300 Rounds ammunition
Suitable clothing for all weather conditions
Wrap-around eye protection
Ear protection
