Christopher “Gio” Giolitti has served the law enforcement community for more than 30 years, including approximately 21 years as a SWAT Operator, Team Leader, and Tactical Commander with two high-tempo Detroit metropolitan police agencies in both full- and part-time roles. Over the course of his career, Gio was honored with one of his department’s highest distinctions—the Letter of Valor—along with two Commendations for Bravery and nearly two dozen Meritorious Service Citations.

Gio has dedicated over 25 years to the Michigan Tactical Officers Association, serving as President, executive board member, and instructor for the association’s Mobile Training Unit. He has delivered firearms and tactical instruction nationwide for multiple state associations and has previously served as cadre for organizations including Triple Canopy and Essential Tactical Advantage. Gio is also a judge for two of the largest SWAT competitions in the United States: SWAT Round-Up International and the Connecticut SWAT Challenge. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of training and working alongside some of the most respected law enforcement and military professionals in the world.

As the Owner and Lead Instructor of GIOTEX Solutions, Gio remains committed to the organization’s mission and to continued service of the law enforcement and first responder communities. His focus is on providing practical, experience-driven training and safeguards designed to help protect those who operate in the most demanding environments.
